Paris prosecutors introduced Friday that police have launched a hate speech investigation after Thomas Jolly, the creative director of the Olympics opening ceremony, reported receiving dying threats and public insults and being defamed. Jolly filed the grievance following backlash over a controversial scene within the ceremony some noticed as a parody of depictions of the Final Supper.
