After a present of patriotism on the College of North Carolina-Chapel Hill campus earlier this week when college students prevented an American flag from hitting the bottom and sang the Nationwide Anthem, college students at Rutgers College adopted swimsuit.

Rutgers college students on Thursday waved American flags and chanted “USA!” amid anti-Israel protests on Voorhees Mall on the New Brunswick, New Jersey, college.

On Tuesday, a photograph of Chapel Hill college students holding up an American flag amid campus protests went viral.

Protesters on the North Carolina quad on Tuesday eliminated and changed the American flag with a Palestinian flag. Interim Chancellor Lee Roberts stepped in with legislation enforcement to return Previous Glory to its authentic place. 

When protesters tried to take it down a second time, a bunch of scholars and fraternity members stepped in to maintain it from touching the bottom. Since then, a 3rd celebration created a GoFundMe for the Chapel Hill college students that raised greater than $500,000 earlier than the fundraiser was closed.

UNC has since erected a fence across the campus flag pole.

Noting the violence that has occurred on different campuses across the nation, Li mentioned he hopes what occurred at UNC and now Rutgers will reverberate nationwide. 

“Hopefully we’ll see an increasing number of college students stand as much as this nonsense that pro-Hamas college students are placing up… We noticed them at Columbia occupy buildings, destroy buildings, vandalize,” Li mentioned.
