Despite Karl-Anthony Towns’s 62 points for the Minnesota Timberwolves in Monday night’s game vs. the Charlotte Hornets, Minnesota fell 128–125.

The officiating raised eyebrows throughout the game, and fans frustrated with the referees were vindicated by the release of the NBA’s last two minute report. According to the report, officials missed a shocking 10 calls in the final 120 seconds of action.

The big questionable non-call of the night came right at the end, as Towns attempted to heroically make a final basket and get fouled in the process to win or tie the game. The NBA noted that this moment was a correct non-call, though.

Seven of the 10 missed calls would have been on the Hornets. Some of those include Terry Rozier traveling, two missed shooting fouls and Rozier having a personal foul against Towns. The fouls could have possibly had an impact on the result of the game.

Included in the miscalls was an incorrect call made on Charlotte’s Brandon Miller during Nickeil Alexander-Walker’s shot attempt, but it should have been called on P.J. Washington.

This was the Hornets’ 10th win of the season, while it was just the Timberwolves’ 13th loss.
